David's artwork and photography has been extensively used for book and album covers, magazines, cards and posters.

His inspiration comes from ‘nature and the elements surrounding our daily lives’; the array of colours and textures to be found in rusty metals, rocks and plants, the ebb and flow of water and light, textural abstractions that most of us would pass by without noticing or dismiss as insignificant, seeing them as a world in their own right.
